Our brave soldiers work in the harshest conditions to ensure the security of the nation and it's citizens. In their duty the soldiers have to face harsh climates, terrorists and rogue neighbours. During the duty many soldiers lose their lives, earlier the families of these Martyrs used to get very less economic help from the government. Modi govt has now announced increased compensation to the families of Martyr.
Earlier the soldiers who lost lives during their duty used to get about 10 lakh ₹ but now such soldiers will get 25 lakh ₹ .
Soldiers who lose life fighting terrorist or pirates would now get 35 lakh ₹ instead of old 15 lakh ₹. Same for soldiers who die during duty at tough areas such as Siachen etc.
The Soldiers who lose live during war or war like condition will now get 45 lakh ₹ as compensation instead of 20 lakh ₹.
Till the 7th pay scheme is announced the money will be given from PM Rahat Kosh.
THIS IS A BIG STEP BY GOVT AND WE APPRECIATE THE GOVERNMENTS MOVE. Our soldiers stand in the toughest conditions possible and lock horns with the any enemy and this step from govt is appreciable and I feel that every citizen should appreciate this step by government and also appreciate the army 🇮🇳💂.
